About Us

I’m Holly, and I run M.O.M’s
As a parent of three young children under 6, I was missing a venue nearby which would enable me to meet with a friend for coffee and provide my children with somewhere safe and stimulating to play. So, I decided to create one myself.
M.O.M is a back to basics play space: Wooden toys; Montessori centred play; activities for climbing, drawing, problem solving and playing imaginatively.
As a parent of a child with SEN, I know all too well how overstimulating traditional play spaces can be. M.O.M has therefore been designed with the intention of creating a peaceful play space. All sessions will be limited in number to prevent them from becoming overwhelming.
We will aim to serve a range of hot and cold drinks, as well as brunch, lunch, cakes and children’s food. Please see the navigation dropdown to find a sample menu.
Our first few weeks of trading will be for play sessions but we are excited to incorporate classes, specialists/consultants, and more from mid March.
We hope to see you soon to play at M.O.M’s. Booking is not essential but is advised, if you'd like to guarantee a space.
Happy playing,
Holly x
Meet the Team!

CATH
Cath was the first person I approached about working for M.O.M. She’s helped me with @nanascaribbean for the last couple of years and is possibly the most serene, lovely, hard working and supportive person. She’s currently training alongside to be a midwife! So will be a fountain of knowledge for all things new baby
-
PAULA
A proud mum and nanny (pictured here with her grandson, with consent). An EYFS specialist with many years experience as a teaching assistant and nursery nurse. So helpful, kind and warm - Paula previously ran a new parents group so she will be an extra friendly face for new parents
-
SARAH
Amazing mum of 4! Sarah is also a childminder and EYFS specialist who’s worked as a teaching assistant and importantly holds a qualification in Mental Health in Early Years. Sarah is the most qualified of all of us and will be such an experienced, approachable and lovely asset to our team. I knew she was right for us straight away!
