About Us

I’m Holly, and I run M.O.M’s

Hi, I'm Holly.

M.O.M. Play Space was born out of a simple frustration. As a mum of three boys under six, I struggled to find somewhere nearby where I could enjoy a good coffee with a friend while my children played safely, happily and independently.

So I decided to create it myself.

The name M.O.M. comes from my three boys: Max, Otis and Marley, who inspire everything we do.

When designing the space, I wanted to create somewhere that felt different from a traditional soft play centre. A place that was calm, welcoming and thoughtfully designed for both children and the grown-ups who bring them.

You'll find wooden toys, imaginative role play, opportunities for climbing, drawing, building and problem-solving, alongside our beautiful new soft play and dedicated baby room. Every area has been carefully chosen to encourage learning through play whilst still feeling fun and engaging.

As a parent of a child with SEN, I also understand how overwhelming busy, noisy play spaces can be. That's why M.O.M. has been designed to feel calmer and more manageable, with session capacities carefully controlled to help create a relaxed environment for everyone.

While little ones play, we serve speciality coffee, brunch, lunch, homemade cakes and children's meals, because we believe parents deserve a treat too.

Whether you're meeting friends, entertaining little ones on a rainy day, or simply looking for a change of scenery, we'd love to welcome you.

Booking isn't essential, but we do recommend reserving a space during busy periods, particularly in wet weather, to avoid disappointment.

We can't wait to meet you.

Happy playing,

Holly x

  • HOPE

You'll most often see Hope on Fridays, at birthday parties and at special events. A valued member of the M.O.M team, Hope brings a calm, friendly presence and a genuine love of working with children.

Before joining us, Hope gained experience in a nursery setting, developing confidence in supporting babies and young children through play. We're delighted to have her on the team.

  • CATH

Cath was the first person I approached about working for M.O.M. She’s helped me with @nanascaribbean for the last couple of years and is possibly the most serene, lovely, hard working and supportive person. She’s currently training alongside to be a midwife! So will be a fountain of knowledge for all things new baby

  • PAULA

A proud mum and nanny (pictured here with her grandson, with consent). An EYFS specialist with many years experience as a teaching assistant and nursery nurse. So helpful, kind and warm - Paula previously ran a new parents group so she will be an extra friendly face for new parents

  • SARAH

Amazing mum of 4! Sarah is also a childminder and EYFS specialist who’s worked as a teaching assistant and importantly holds a qualification in Mental Health in Early Years. Sarah is the most qualified of all of us and will be such an experienced, approachable and lovely asset to our team. I knew she was right for us straight away!
